Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines what is and isn't allowed on dbio.ai. All users must comply with this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not publish, host, or distribute content that:
Illegal Content
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Involves child exploitation material (zero tolerance — reported to authorities)
- Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent)
Harmful Content
- Threats of violence, harassment, or intimidation
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
- Content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Doxxing or publishing private information without consent
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
Deceptive Content
- Phishing, scams, or fraudulent schemes
- Impersonating individuals, organizations, or brands
- Misleading health claims or medical misinformation
- Fake reviews or manipulated testimonials
- Deceptive pricing or bait-and-switch tactics
2. Prohibited Commerce
You may not sell or offer:
- Counterfeit or unauthorized replica goods
- Controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, explosives, or ammunition
- Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
- Products that violate export controls or sanctions
- Unregistered securities or financial instruments
- Services that facilitate illegal activities
3. Technical Restrictions
You may not:
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious scripts
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other accounts
- Use the Platform to launch denial-of-service attacks
- Scrape or harvest data from other users' stores without consent
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Use automated tools to create accounts or generate content at scale for spam
- Host file-sharing, torrent, or proxy services
4. Communication Standards
- Do not send unsolicited bulk emails or messages through the Platform
- Respect other users and their customers
- Do not use the Platform's email or chat features for spam
- Honor unsubscribe requests promptly
5. AI Usage
When using dbio.ai's AI tools:
- Do not use AI to generate prohibited content listed above
- Do not use AI to create misleading or deceptive content at scale
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing
- AI-generated content must comply with all other sections of this policy
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:
- Email: abuse@dbio.ai
- Include the URL, description of the violation, and any supporting evidence
- For copyright complaints, submit a DMCA takedown notice to legal@dbio.ai
7. Enforcement
We take a graduated approach to enforcement:
- Warning: First-time minor violations receive a warning with instructions to fix the issue
- Content Removal: Violating content may be removed or disabled
- Suspension: Repeated or serious violations result in temporary account suspension
- Termination: Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination
For severe violations (child exploitation, imminent threats of violence, active fraud), we may skip to immediate termination and report to law enforcement.
8. Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting appeals@dbio.ai with your account details and explanation. We will review appeals within 5 business days.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as needed. Significant changes will be communicated via email or Platform notice.
